At Holy Trinity, we are committed to helping our children know, love and worship God. Through the ministry of Trinity Kids, we seek to root every child in the Word of God, lead them into a life of prayer and praise, and teach them how to serve God in their world. Our volunteers and staff consider it a privilege to walk alongside your children as they come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
We hope this site provides a helpful introduction to Trinity Kids, including everything you need to know for Sunday morning, but we are eager to help if you have questions. Just ask one of our Trinity Kids volunteers on Sunday or contact our Trinity Kids Director, Robin Harris, firstname.lastname@example.org
Worship (K-5th grade)
We are committed to family worship! As a result, we encourage children and their parents to worship together every Sunday.
Children (K-5th grade) join us for “big church” in the chapel before being invited to participate in Children’s Worship, a separate time of praise and teaching suited to their ages.
What happens in Children’s Worship?
After worshiping with our adults, children (K-5th grade) are invited to go to Children’s Worship (usually during the Gospel hymn). This is your child’s opportunity to worship God through songs, stories, and prayer.
After our worship service, children of all ages are invited to participate in Foundations. During this time, children study and memorize God’s word and participate in fun activities that reinforce the lessons. Nursery and pre-school age children will be taken to Foundations by their teachers while K-5th grade should proceed to the Commons after worship. Children’s Foundations is located in The Commons.
Nursery and Preschool
Nursery and preschool classrooms are located along our “Trinity Kids” hallway, just to the left as you enter the main lobby (see campus map on reverse). Check-in opens at 9:45. Children may be picked up after worship (11:30am) or join us for Kids Foundations on the second floor of the classroom building.
Keeping our kids safe
We take seriously the fact that you are entrusting your children to our care. Only parents and approved adults are permitted access to our secure Trinity Kids area. Each of our volunteers have received training and protocols are in place to protect your children while under our supervision. In addition, all of our volunteers are required to undergo a thorough background check.
